Privacy Policy
Frīgedæg · Granular instrument · k.odk
This app collects nothing. No personal data, no usage data, no identifiers. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code that could do any of those things. The app makes no network connections at all.
Microphone
Frīgedæg plays grains cut from a recording, so recording is the whole point of the microphone. It is used only while you are holding the record key, and only to capture the material you are about to play.
What you record stays in the app's own storage on your device. It is not uploaded, not shared, not sent to any server, and not written to your music or files library. There is no speech recognition and no analysis of what was said or heard — the recording is treated as raw sound and nothing else.
Audio files you load
You can load a sound file instead of recording one. The file is read into the app and used as material. The original is left where it is, and nothing about it is reported anywhere.
What is stored on your device
- Your recordings and the material currently loaded.
- Your presets — the state of every panel, saved when you hold a slot.
- Your settings.
All of it lives inside the app's own storage on your device. None of it leaves the device, and all of it is removed when you delete the app.
Children
This is a musical instrument, safe for any age. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a future version ever collected anything, it would be described here first.
