Privacy Policy
VGA Cam · Low-res digicam · k.odk
This app collects nothing. No personal data, no usage data, no identifiers. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code that could do any of those things. The app makes no network connections at all.
Camera
VGA Cam is a camera: it uses the camera to take photographs and video. Every frame is processed on your device and then discarded or saved to your own photo library. No image is uploaded, shared, or made available to any other app.
Microphone
The microphone is used only for the soundtrack of a video, and only while a video is being recorded. The audio is written into that video file and nowhere else. If you do not grant microphone access, video is still recorded, silently.
Photo library
The app asks for add-only access, which lets it save the photographs and videos it takes. It cannot read, browse or delete the photographs you already have. No location is written into anything it saves.
What is stored on your device
- The era you last selected and the position of the four controls.
That is all, and it lives inside the app’s own storage. Photographs and videos you take are saved to your photo library and stay there if you delete the app.
Children
This is a camera, safe for any age. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a future version ever collected anything, it would be described here first.
