This app collects nothing. No personal data, no usage data, no identifiers. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party code that could do any of those things. The only network activity is Apple’s own in-app purchase system.
What is stored on your device
- Your mark for each word (not yet / almost / known) and its tag.
- Your settings: the level you chose and the study direction.
- Where you left off in each deck, and the order of each shuffled deck.
That is all, and it lives inside the app’s own storage so you can pick up where you left off. It is never sent anywhere, and deleting the app deletes it.
Speech
Words and example sentences are read aloud with the speech synthesiser built into iOS. Audio is generated on the device; nothing is sent over the network. The microphone is never used.
In-app purchase
Higher levels are unlocked with a one-time purchase handled by Apple through StoreKit. The app never sees your payment details; it only learns from Apple whether the purchase was made, so it can unlock the decks.
Children
The app is suitable for any age. Since nothing is collected from anyone, nothing is collected from children either.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date. If a future version ever collected anything, it would be described here first.
