Something wrong, or something missing? Write to kodk.dev@gmail.com. Please include your device model, your iOS version, and what you were doing when it happened — it makes a fix much more likely.
Nothing records
Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Microphone and make sure Ferrec is allowed. If the app never asked for permission, delete it and install it again.
My loops disappeared
Loops and stock slots are saved automatically and come back when you reopen the app, but they live only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them with it.
The sound stopped
Playback stops on purpose when you unplug headphones, so that nothing suddenly blares out of the speaker. Press play again. If a phone call or another app interrupted the audio and it does not come back, close Ferrec and open it again.
How long can a loop be?
Each deck holds twenty seconds. The field recorder holds five minutes and bypasses the tape entirely.
What does LINK do?
It makes both decks turn over together, using the shorter of the two loops as the length. Pitch is untouched — the longer tape simply returns to the start earlier.
Can I export what I made?
Not yet. Ferrec can load audio files but cannot write them out. If that is what you need, say so in an email — it helps decide what comes next.

録音できません
設定 > プライバシーとセキュリティ > マイク で、Ferrec が許可されているか確認して ください。許可を訊かれた記憶がない場合は、一度アプリを削除して入れ直してください。
ループが消えました
ループとストックは自動的に保存され、次に開いたときに戻ります。ただし保存先は端末の中だけ なので、アプリを削除すると一緒に消えます。
音が出なくなりました
イヤホンを抜くと、スピーカーから突然鳴らないように再生を止める仕様です。もう一度再生を 押してください。電話や他のアプリに音を奪われたまま戻らない場合は、Ferrec を一度閉じて 開き直してください。
ループの長さは
デッキは1台につき20秒です。フィールドレコーダーは5分で、こちらはテープの効果を通りません。
LINK は何をしますか
2台のデッキを、短いほうのループの長さで一緒に折り返させます。ピッチは変わりません。 長いほうのテープが早く頭に戻るだけです。
作ったものを書き出せますか
いまはできません。読み込みはできますが、書き出しには対応していません。必要でしたら メールで教えてください。次に何を作るかの判断材料になります。
