It doesn't react to my instrument
iOS asks for the microphone the first time. If it was declined, open Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone and turn Tunelume on. Another app holding the microphone (a call, a recorder) can also block it. Hold the iPhone close to the instrument and pluck firmly.
The reading jumps around
Play one string at a time and let the others rest. In a loud room, open Settings and choose Noisy place: the tuner then ignores quiet or unclear sound. Right after the pluck the string is a little sharp; let it ring for a moment.
What do the numbers mean?
The dial shows how far you are from the target in Hz. The big number is what the tuner hears, and Target is where the string should be. When the difference drops below one cent the dial lights up blue and the key of that string gets a blue light.
The sine is quiet, or sounds different on low notes
An iPhone speaker can hardly play 82 Hz. Below B3 the sine gets soft overtones so you can hear it at the right pitch. With headphones, turn on Pure sine on low notes in Settings. Tap the sine bar to play or stop, use − and + for semitones, and drag the bar sideways for fine steps.
Capo, my own tunings, intonation
All in Settings. Set the capo fret and every string target moves with it. My tunings lets you set each string and save the tuning under a name; it then appears in the tuning menu. Intonation check compares the 12th-fret harmonic with the fretted 12th note and tells you whether to move the saddle forward or back.
Apple Watch, widget, Control Center
With Tunelume open on your iPhone, the Watch app shows the needle and the note. The widget and the Control Center button just open the tuner.

楽器の音に反応しません
初回に iOS がマイクの許可を聞きます。断った場合は、設定 → プライバシーと セキュリティ → マイクで Tunelume を入にしてください。他のアプリ（通話や録音アプリ）が マイクを使っていても聴けません。iPhone を楽器に近づけ、しっかり弾いてください。
表示が落ち着きません
一度に一本だけ鳴らし、ほかの弦は止めてください。騒がしい場所では、設定の マイクを NOISY PLACE にすると、小さい音やはっきりしない音を無視します。 弾いた直後の弦は少し高めに鳴るので、少し鳴らしたままにしてください。
数字の見かた
弧の目盛りは、目標とのずれを Hz で示します。大きな数字がいま聴こえている周波数、 TARGET がその弦の本来の周波数です。ずれが 1 セントを切ると円盤が青く光り、 その弦のボタンも青く光ります。
低い音のサイン波が小さい・音色が違う
iPhone のスピーカーは 82 Hz のような低い音をほとんど鳴らせません。そのため B3 より 低い音には弱い倍音を足して、正しい高さで聴こえるようにしています。イヤホンを使うときは、 設定の PURE SINE ON LOW NOTES を入にしてください。サイン波の帯をタップで 再生・停止、− と + で半音ずつ、帯を横にドラッグすると細かく動きます。
カポ、自分のチューニング、オクターブ調整
いずれも設定にあります。カポのフレットを選ぶと各弦の目標がその分上がります。 MY TUNINGS では弦ごとに音を決めて名前を付けて保存でき、チューニングの メニューに並びます。INTONATION CHECK は 12 フレットのハーモニクスと 12 フレットを 押さえた音を比べて、サドルを前に出すか後ろに下げるかを教えます。
Apple Watch、ウィジェット、コントロールセンター
iPhone で Tunelume を開いているあいだ、Watch に針と音名が出ます。ウィジェットと コントロールセンターのボタンは、チューナーを開くためのものです。
